Who is eligible for the Promise?

All pool season customers who:

1. Chlorine Pool Owners must purchase qualifying product from each of Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 and at least the minimum quantity. The qualifying Step Products are:

• Step 1/Sanitizers  (12 lbs or greater) – all SilkGuard® products (SilkGuard Complete™,1” SilkGuard ®Tabs, 3” SilkGuard® Tabs, SilkGuard® Sticks, Smart SilkGuard® Sticks)
• Step 2/Shock –  (12 lbs or greater) Smart Shock®, Easy Shock & Swim®, BurnOut® 3, BurnOut® 73
• Step 3/Algicide – Algae Complete® (1), Back Up® 2 (2), Algae All 60® (2), Banish® (2)

2. Salt Pool Owners must purchase qualifying product from each of Step 2 and Step 3 and at least the minimum quantity. The qualifying Step Products are:

• Step 3/Algicide – SaltScapes® Algae Remover (2), Algae Complete® (1), Back Up® 2 (2), Algae All 60® (2), Banish® (2)
• Step 2/Shock –  (12 lbs or greater) Smart Shock®, Easy Shock & Swim®, BurnOut® 3, BurnOut® 73
• SaltScapes Cell Cleaner (1)
• SaltScapes Scale Defender (1)
• Mineral Springs® Pool Owners must purchase the following, in at least the minimum quantity:
• Mineral Springs™ Beginnings (2)
• Mineral Springs® Renewal® (12)
• Mineral Springs® Stain & Scale (4)

By registering for the Promise, the pool owner agrees to:

1. Continue to use only eligible BioGuard products and follow suggested treatment routine
2. Get water tested regularly at this BioGuard Dealer and perform recommended water balance adjustments

What conditions are not covered?

1. Chlorine Demand (due to insufficient sanitizer levels)
2. Cloudy Water
3. Metal Staining
4. Water Balancing
5. Equipment Issues

To redeem an algae issue:

1. Bring a water sample to this BioGuard Dealer for an ALEX® Water Analysis
2. Once the issue is verified, BioGuard Dealer will provide a FREE BioGuard Tru•Blue Promise Solution Kit containing products recommended by ALEX to fix the issue
